Completed in 2006, Extension 1 of the ultra-modern International Convention Center (SHICC) provides the most up-to-date facilities in the region and is perfectly placed and equipped to play a leading role in the global conference and exhibition scene. Located less than a 10-minute drive from Sharm-el-Sheikh international airport, the SHICC’s Metting rooms, ballrooms, salons, studios and break-out rooms provide 100 per cent logistic and strategic solutions for conference owners.

Venues, multi-function rooms and lobbies can be configured in a variety of layouts – Theatre, Classroom, Banquet, U-shaped, Hollow Square and Reception. Delegates and attendees also have access to terraces for breaks and networking. The Convention Center is equipped with the most up-to-date audio-visual equipment that can be found worldwide, setting the highest standards for conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.

It is no wonder that global events are attracted to the venues – such as the World Youth Forum, World Radio Communication Conference, UN Conference on Biological Diversity, in addition to international and domestic exhibitions, corporate events, receptions and gala occasions.
