South Shore Harbour Country Club provides a unique elegance for your upcoming special occasion. The following suggestions and requirements will help you prepare for your visit to the Club. We look forward to working with you and making your event successful and pleasurable for you and your guests to remember.
MENU SELECTIONS
The Club requests that you finalize your menu selections within three weeks of your event. This allows our staff and the chef time to plan and prepare for you event. Also, to ensure adequate food and beverage preparations, we require a guaranteed number of guests attending the event 7 days prior to the event date, not to include weekends and holidays.
If guaranteed number is not given, the initial planning number becomes the guarantee. If attendance falls below the guaranteed number, you will still be charged for the guaranteed number. We prepare 5% over the guaranteed number. You will be charged for the number served or the guarantee, whichever is greater.
The Club reserves the right to serve any additional guests an alternate food item; if the size of the guarantee differs greatly from the expected attendance the Club reserves the right to move the party to the appropriate room.
PRICING
Due to fluctuations in the food market, some prices may change without notice. We will inform you of any change before your final selections are made.
POLICY STATEMENT
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages may be brought into or taken out of the Club at any time. The Club reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. The Club will only serve a person of legal age. Identification may be required.
DISCLAIMER
Under no circumstances will the Club be responsible for loss of items brought into the property (cake or floral equipment, personal items, etc.).
AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT
Most AV equipment is available via the Banquet Catering Manager at an additional charge. If extensive equipment is required, please consult with the Banquet Catering Manager so we may provide you with complete and timely service.
Wedding Restrictions
Events starting between the hours of 10am and 3pm have a 3 hour maximum rental. The Club rooms used for wedding ceremonies and receptions starting between the hours of 4 pm and 12am have a 4 hour maximum rental. Additional hours may be purchased for $300 per hour.
The client may have access to the Club two hours before the wedding or event. The Club prohibits throwing rice, birdseed or the use of sparklers. You may use bubbles, rose petals, artificial rice or noise makers.

Booking an Event
- A $1000.00 deposit is required for Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookings.
- A $200.00 deposit is required for Monday through Thursday bookings.
Minimum required deposit is credited to final bill. 50% of estimated charges are due 60 days prior to your event. Final payment is due 14 days prior to your event. The club will accommodate any party on short notice provided space is available. Terms and guarantees will be addressed at that time.

Service Charge & Tax
- An 18% service charge applies to all food and beverage purchases. The service charge will provide the necessary wait staff for a function.
- An 8% Sales Tax is charged for all applicable items. Texas law requires that the service charge must also be taxed.
Room Rentals for Pre-Planned, Monthly Scheduled Meetings, Luncheons and Dinners.
- Board Room: Seats up to 15 guests with a $100.00 room rental charge.
- Private Dining Room: Seats up to 80/100 guests with a $150 room rental charge.
- Main Dining Room: Seats up to 150/200 guests with a $250 room rental charge.
A deposit of the appropriate room rent will be applied to the final bill. The club will accommodate "pop-up" meetings, luncheons and dinners based on space available. Terms and guarantees will be addressed at that time.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation request may only be made by the person that booked the event. Acknowledgment of a definite commitment by the Club will, in good faith, continue to protect the facilities and dates agreed to the exclusion of other business opportunities. Therefore, the commitment of space and dates has a specified value to the Club in relationship to the cost of replacing this business with equal value business. Due to the great difficulty in reselling event space on short notice, cancellation of the entire event will be subject to an assessment according to the schedule as follows:
